Here's some information about my one-on-one guitar lessons.

      To start, we talk via email and mutually agree on what you're interested in learning. Then, I sit at the computer and create individualized lessons, which are combinations of written text, tabulature, and (if necessary) audio examples.

      I charge $30.00 per hour of my time. You can choose either one hour, or half-hour lessons. My time is spent preparing specific lessons for you. My rate includes materials and postage. I use a simple pay-as-you-go system. You send me funds (check, money order, or Paypal), and I create the lessons. I then either email or snail mail the lesson materials to you.

      Along with the lessons, I'm happy to answer a reasonable number of questions via email. By reasonable I mean one or two questions per day.

      Some students send in a tape of their playing, which gives me an idea where they're at technique-wise. This is optional, of course, but I find it very helpful.
